Brent crude trading higher at $75.21/bbl

Crude oil prices rose Rs33 to Rs5,786 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was up by 0.77 per cent at $70.33 per barrel, while Brent crude traded 0.75 per cent higher at $75.21 per barrel in New York.
On MCX, crude oil for July delivery traded higher by Rs33 or 0.57 per cent at Rs5,786 per barrel in 13,296 lots. Analysts said the raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
